The first time I photographed Nate he was this many.... back in 2009.
When his mama reached out to me to do his Senior Portraits I was baffled. How did time go so quickly!? And then I baffled his mom by remembering two out of three of the other kiddos' names.
The weather was gorgeous and therefore there were a lot of people out and about and enjoying the day. "They must be doing Senior photos!" a passerby said. Made me chuckle and appreciate the sense of community. There were couples doing Homecoming portraits in the park as well, and later another Senior.
I have suggestions to make your shoot be about the subject, however, if my suggestions don't apply to you, or interest you, that's okay! Nate was good with just a couple shirt and shoe changes. Perfect!
The colors have already started dropping off the trees, but with placement and posing, we were still able to grab those gorgeous shades of yellows and oranges.
I strive to find locations with a lot of looks available in one area. Textures, colors, water, that sort of thing.
The rocks, moss, leaves, grass, river, bricks, tree bark all created beautiful backdrops for Nate's session.
Remember that when you order your images you can crop them as you see fit! You can select the paper you want them printed on, too! (Metallic is my FAVORITE.)
